What does the family constellations course consist of?
In this family constellations course we will experience and understand that emotions and the body are an interconnected unit in family constellations Although we sometimes speak separately about these aspects, in a deep sense the body and emotions influence and affect each other, leaving a physical trace of our emotional states.
During this two and a half day intensive course, we will delve into theory and practice on how emotions and the body interact in the context of family constellations. This approach is complemented by non-cathartic experiential practices, focusing on:
- Understanding the difference between sensations, perception and emotions.
- Explore basic emotions (fear, anger, sadness, joy) and how they manifest in the body.
- Observe emotions in moments of emotional blockage or intensity and explore what happens when emotions seem to disappear or fluctuate.
- Recognize the importance of the representative in a family constellation and how he or she handles the emotions that emerge in his or her role.
- Understanding the phenomenon of emotional “overlap” in the role of the representative: feeling both the emotions of the person represented and your own.
In this family constellations course, we will apply all this knowledge in a safe environment, working from empathy and deep understanding of emotions and their bodily manifestations. We will learn to address and support different sensations and emotions within the constellation process, helping each participant to consciously integrate their experiences.
