We are going to explore with Systemic Family Therapy or Family Constellations our family background and the transgenerational impact it has on our current lives. As we know today, the lives, experiences, and development that our great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents have had, along with the traumatic events that they may have experienced in their own personal development and in their families, have a profound impact on the way they have related to us as children, and even as adults.
The way our parents have related to us, due to their own development, has created certain attachment styles;
- Authoritarian and controlling, without any emotional attention.
- Ambivalent and without self-esteem.
- Chaotic, disorganized, without internal or external order.
What would it have been like if we had grown up in a healthy environment and received what we needed emotionally, bodily, and with a healthy understanding?
In each module we will explore specific topics, and each person will be able to explore their own personal topic.
