Desorganized attachment

a desire to be near

The content

Disorganized behavior is a reaction of the child when there was too much threat and confusion around him from caregivers, and in the environment.

The disorganized pattern arises in the child when there is a desire to be close to the parents or caregivers as an object of security, in conflict with the urge to separate from the dangerous and confusing caregiver. This later shows up in our adulthood.

Desorganized in itself gives us a understanding something is not organized, not healthy.

We all know that for a short period of time there may be a kind of no good / healthy organization in the world, but afterwards it should be healthy, organized and welcome again.

For the adult it can mean being held hostage emotionally by the conflict of the desire for intimacy and also by the fear of intimacy.

In this workshop we will seek and explore theoretically and practically in groups the different dynamics:

the innate drive to attach and the instinctual drive to survive.
We will approach the desorganized attachment by understanding the identification as adults
Threat
Its involvement in the nervous system
Being fixed in a situation, and feeling threatened even when in reality there is no threat.
Narcissistic and sadistic abuse
Boundary
We are looking from a safe place, boundaries and support, in a safe field from where we come. Using resources which were not there at that time.
